Please share with us your experience after taking the exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations…

According to the comments here and some other places, you might see the EIGRP, VTP, Access-list 2 sims (Access-list 2 is an old sim but they revived it). And one notice in the VTP sim is they can change the root bridge and the Configuration Revision Number so make sure you grasped the concept.

Make sure you understand all the sim-labs on this site because all the sims you might see in your exam were posted here.

I will continue to update this page when I get news about the exam. If you know anything new, please comment here (especially about lab-sim questions). All of us are waiting for your guide!

Note: We have a topic of Frequently Asked Questions & Tips for CCNA learners, surely you will find valuable information about the CCNA exam there.

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Please don’t ask for links to download copyright materials here…

Hope you will find useful information from friends who have taken the CCNA exam!

I just took the CCNA this morning and passed with a score of 920/1000.

    Here is my experience:
    1. Study the 9Tut review questions for EVERY TOPIC on the right hand column like Access List Questions, WAN, OSPF, etc…. basically look at EVERY SINGLE ONE of those topics and UNDERSTAND the questions/answers.
    2. The questions/answer choices were 95% of the time identical
    3. Simulations were: ACL2, VTP, and EIGRP
    4. ACL2 was scenario #3, but keep in mind that yours MIGHT BE DIFFERENT!
    5. VTP was exactly like the one here
    6. EIGRP just used a different AS, but everything else was the same

You can use: TAB and ? to help you!
You can abbreviate some commands too if you want, but I just simply wrote out the entire command because I’m a perfectionist haha…

Even though you have all the answers/solutions/concepts down, do NOT finish the test too fast or else they might accuse you of cheating.

I finished the test with 27 minutes left just so it seems like I spent time thinking on some questions. I technically could have finished it within 30 minutes and have about 1 hour left.

The multiple choice questions and simulations are MIXED. What this means is that you could get a simulation at ANY POINT IN TIME during the test.
I was shocked when my FIRST QUESTION was the VTP simulation and then the ACL2 and EIGRP was also mixed in with the 50 questions.

With the premium 9Tut account, I would say you should definitely use the simulations to practice typing in the commands and DEFINITELY review the New Updated Questions 20-25.
If you do not have a premium account, you will NOT see the New Updated Questions.

    Thank you so much 9TUT!!!!

Oh right.. one thing to add… I NEVER LOOKED AT A SINGLE DUMP and still got 920/1000

I passed with a 841. That wasn’t the score I’d hoped for but it’ll do. ACL #2 and the EIGRP sim too. The Vtp sim proved to be my undoing but cause of a glitch in the test. The premium access on 9tut will get you thru the exam. Best of Luck to my fellow test takers!

Today I took my CCNA exam and passed with 980/1000 … yes!! Thank you so much to 9tut. You helped me a lot especially for laboratories that are almost identical. ACL2, VTP and EIGRP. Recommendation: NO memorize the answers, try to understand its meaning. Values vary in the real exam you may be mistaken.

Took my CCNA today, passed 947/1000. Thanks so much 9tut. Sims are spot on, VTP, EIGRP, and ACL (case 2). The drag and drops almost identical, 90% questions very smiliar. I did not see any frame relay questions on my exam. One question i was sure was about an output from a router’s interface running RIP.

I passed my CCNA exam last Friday, 947/1000. I was really scare, but I found many questions from this website. Dumps helps as well. One of the keys to pass the exam is by reading and understanding all the 662 question in the dumps. Next step: Buy a new computer to practice CCNP on GNS3. Could somebody tell me what books can I buy for preparing the CCNP exam?

I passed my CCNA exam last may 10th, 920/1000. Spike and Shekar are still valid, and you need to practice sims of 9tut.com, ACL2, VTP and EIGRP (with pasive-interfeca, in my case wasn’t necessary delete it)
I recommend to use premiun membership of 9tut, and good luck

thanks a lot 9tut, Spike and Shekar

I am going to post again.
Dumps are NOT necessary. They are the ‘icing on the cake’.
If you do not understand the materials yet, dont just blow through the dumps are expect to memorize the questions/answers. (Sure that helps, but what if they change the question even a little bit?)
I passed and got a 920/1000 on the test WITHOUT dumps.
Now you may ask, what did I use to study?

Today I’v passed the exam Alhamdulillah. Thanks 9tut for the sims. Marks 973. Sims were ACL2 scenario 3, VTP, EIGRP. I studied only todd lamle 7th editon, shekhar dump 100% valid and 9tut sims. Exam was very easy. I could complete the exam in 40 minutes. Tab keys and shortcut keys are working, but in vtp sim if u use “show vtp ” command instead of show vtp status u will get a wrong configuration revision number and it will make u to fail a question.
There were 45 question out of 47 MCQ question from shekhar dump. 2 questions were unknown. Best of luck guys. go ahead without fear.
