Share your CCNA Experience
The new CCNA 200-301 has come to replace the old CCNA 200-125 exam so we create the “Share your new CCNA Experience” for everyone to share their experience to prepare for this new exam.
We have a topic of Frequently Asked Questions & Tips for CCNA learners, surely you will find valuable information about the CCNA exam there.
Note:
+ The CCNA 200-301 exam include lab sims, multiple choice and Drag drop questions.
+ You can use shortcut command (like “int”, “no sh”, “conf t”…), “tab” and “?” in the simulations of the exam.
+ The lab sims will be shown at the beginning, not in the middle of the exam (changed since November 2025). Currently there are 4 lab sims in each exam.
Please share with us your experience to prepare for the new CCNA 200-301 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…
Your posts are warmly welcome! Hope you will find useful information from friends who have taken the new CCNA exam!

Passed my CCNA exam today. Slightly above 80%, but a Pass is a Pass :D
The questions helped me a lot, and the labs were exactly the same as the labs presented on this site, so keep learning them!
@MonkeeJesus – what labs did you get in the exam?
@Jin Woo
I only remember this 3 out of 4
OSPF Configuration Sim 3 (with Router 2 instead of Router 1)
IPv4 and IPv6 Assignment Sim (but with different IPs and Subnets)
Voice VLAN & LLDP Sim
@MonkeeJesus thanks for your response I appreciate it. Congrats by the way
@Jin Woo
Thanks! Oh, and I remembered what the last lab was: the Trunking & LACP Sim
@MonkeeJesus thanks
Next Generation testing simulation…Ready to experience the next generation of CCNA exam preparation? This isn’t just another practice test—this is a fully immersive simulation designed to mirror the real exam environment.
We’re launching a brand-new CCNA simulation exam, built to give you the closest possible experience to the actual test. You’ll have 120 minutes to complete a mix of realistic labs, drag-and-drop challenges, and questions pulled from a large, continuously updated database.
For a limited time, you can try it completely free—no membership required. You’ll also receive a detailed scorecard at the end, helping you pinpoint exactly where you need improvement before the real exam.
Access is limited to the first 25 users or 24 hours, whichever comes first.
To get the most value, treat this like the real exam. Set aside uninterrupted time, avoid shortcuts, and fully engage with the lab scenarios. If you’re new to labs where help commands are restricted, don’t worry—each lab includes a spoiler section to guide you if needed.
We’re looking for honest feedback to continue refining the experience, so after testing, please share your thoughts and reviews.
Good luck—and happy testing. —proceed like a normal checkout and use code: CCNA_TEST_4_U
Passed the test recently. Saw a few new questions, but they were very inline with what you see for premium access. 4 labs then 72 questions: VLAN LLDP, OSPF DR config, IPv4 and IPv6 interface addressing/subnetting, and Trunking LACP. Make sure you understand all of the wireless questions. Automation related was very basic.. do you understand arrays, lists, etc.. and which applications push vs. pull. Do the composite full tests over and over, study the material you keep hanging up/missing. Much easier than the test I took 18 years ago.
I just passed the CCNA exam today. I got 4 labs in my exam OSPF Configuration SIM 3, IPV4 and IPV6 Assigntment SIM, Voice VLAN and LLDP Sim and Trunking and LACP Sim.
Note: For OSPF Configuration sim, I did “clear ip ospf process” but it didn’t take effect so I move on, it could be a bug on the simlet.
For IPV4 and IPV6 sim, make sure to do “no shut” . I found out after configuring the ip on both ends, ping didnt work because the interface are manually shutdown.
For Trunking and LACP sim, configure the interface as trunk first as what asked on TASK1. Then do “channel-group x mode active ” on TASK 2. The port channel inherits the trunking configuration from the trunk links. And of course , dont forget to do ping from each host to verify connectivity.
I had 72 questions in total, I’d say if you review Part 5 to 16 100% you’ll pass.
Thanks 9tut.
@Jin Woo
